Part I: The "Perfect Woman"??? Intriguing or Appalling?

Hello Everyone,

I just saw a video of "The Perfect Woman". Her name is Lisa and... she's a robot!!! "She" has supposedly been in production for three years now and is due to be released by the end of the year. There is a website in existence that claims that one can go to The Perfect Woman Website and pre-order her!!!

According to the video, one of the investors in this project, who wishes to remain anonymous (no surprise there) says that she is being made to appeal to all of the single men out there. If this were serious, could you imagine going to someone's home and meeting their robotic wife??? There's just something majorly creepy and unnatural about that.

And according to the website, to remain equal, they are working on the male version as well! The website/video don't really say whether or not the robot would be equipped for sexual satisfaction but can you really see yourself having sex with a robot??? I mean, come on now. I personally find the idea appalling.

The odds are this whole thing is some kind of joke/prank that was put out there for the prankers' entertainment (although there is no actual proof either way) but imagine if it were actually real? I highly doubt the robots would appeal to the single people of the world. They would appeal to the mentally sick people!!!

Watch the video below and decide for yourself:

What do you think? Is the idea of a robot mate intriguing or appalling?

  2. Well, I've seen footage about a year ago on Asians creating a human-like robot, and they are still trying to perfect it, of course, and I think it's pretty amusing, and like the private investor said, it will make a lot of money, because humans are never satisfied, so the journey for the next high will never end. The possibilities of customizing ... Read Moreyour robot to look as you want it will reap a lot of benefits for the company. I am guessing celebrity robots will be sold-out, lol! I might purchase one once the price goes down, hahaha!

  4. Hahaha! I would want the Gael Garcia Bernal robot ;-p And yes, I saw the video you posted, it was very amusing to hear the spokesperson take the robot so serious. It's like, "Sir, men are not looking for a perfect woman, they will take anything that doesn't tell them 'No,'" Hahahahaha!
