If At First You Don't Succeed, Try, Try Again!!!
Secrets of the 5%
What You Can Learn from Successful People
"...They allow Themselves To Fail. It’s a guaranteed certainty. Every one of the 5% has failed at some point along their weight loss journey. The difference is that they learned to forgive setbacks and refused to beat themselves up. Every failure is simply one step closer to ultimate success. With this outlook, and using lessons learned along the way, they kept these setbacks from turning into full-fledged disasters." The above is taken from today's featured Wellness article (@ Spark People).
It's one of the many lessons I've learned from Spark People in my short time there. It's okay to fail. Seems like a simple enough lesson, right? Common sense. Most of us should have learned it in elementary/grade school. Too many of us never put it into practice. When we've failed, we've beaten ourselves over it.
Well, No Mas! (Spanish for "No More"!) As the title of this blog entry states, "If At First You Don't Succeed, Try, Try Again." It's time to put our grade school lessons into play. No more beating ourselves up over minor setbacks. If you or I mess up, we're going to just "dust ourselves off" and try again, right?
If we keep trying, we'll fail less and less and--here's the kicker--we will succeed and achieve our goals (sooner than we expected)!!!

Looking for Coupons to Amusement Parks for this Summer?
If you're planning on going to an Amusement Park this year, would prefer to pay at the gate and would like to know where you can get actual tangible coupons for them, here's your answer:
Most of the Parks' websites tell you where you should go.
To start you off:
If you'd like to take the family to Sesame Place this year, you can go here.
For Hershey Park, check them out here.
For Dorney Park/Wild Water Kingdom, this is the spot.
(I know that those pretty much just cover the NYC tri-state area but as stated above, those sites were just a starting off point. They're just examples so that you can see for yourself what I'm referring to.)
